Role overview
Reporting to the FP&A leadership team, this position is central to analysis, reporting, and insight generation for business performance and executive decision-making. The role works closely with Finance Business Partners and operational teams to support forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting, while also contributing to wider changes in systems, data, and finance processes.
This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys working with data, creating models, and converting financial information into practical insights that influence outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities across the organisation.
- Review financial results and explain major drivers and variances in performance.
- Develop and update financial models to support decisions and scenario planning.
- Help prepare executive-level reports and presentation materials.
- Support business case analysis for investments and strategic projects.
- Partner with Finance Business Partners to provide commentary and insight.
- Preserve data accuracy and contribute to improvements in financial systems.
- Take part in transformation work, including planning tools and reporting platforms.
- Create dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI.
Skills and experience
- CA/CPA qualification, completed or in progress.
- Background in FP&A, commercial finance, or financial analysis.
- Strong capability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong numerical analysis.
- Exposure to Power BI or a similar reporting platform.
- High attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain insights well.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work across different stakeholders.
- Experience in transformation or project-based environments is an advantage.
