Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Field Worker specialized in elevator and escalator maintenance to join our team. The role involves performing regular preventive and corrective servicing to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our equipment at various customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct both preventive and corrective maintenance on elevators and escalators to maintain optimal performance.
• Respond promptly to breakdown and service calls, diagnosing technical issues effectively.
• Inspect all relevant electrical, mechanical, and safety components methodically.
• Troubleshoot technical faults, repair malfunctioning parts, and replace components when necessary.
• Perform routine safety and efficiency checks adhering to company protocols.
• Maintain and update accurate documentation including service records, checklists, and maintenance reports.
• Collaborate closely with customers to understand service needs and address any complaints.
• Adhere strictly to KONE's safety guidelines, ensuring safe working practices on-site.
• Be willing to travel to multiple customer locations as job requirements dictate.
• Assist in testing and commissioning activities when required, supporting the deployment of new or upgraded equipment.

Eligibility

Suitable candidates should have the ability to work independently in field environments and be willing to travel. Prior experience with elevator and escalator maintenance is highly preferred.

Compensation

The remuneration for this position ranges between INR 15,000 and INR 18,000 per month.
