About The Role
Located in Kassel, this full-time, on-site position requires a hands-on Field Service Technician to maintain and enhance the reliability of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and central inverter technology. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and improving the efficiency of on-site service procedures within the renewable energy and power systems sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventive and corrective maintenance on battery inverters and associated system components.
- Assist in system commissioning activities and occasionally support control room operations.
- Manage and coordinate tasks with external service providers to ensure quality workmanship, stepping in onsite to resolve any issues when necessary.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical faults in field equipment and escalate complex problems through structured internal channels.
- Strictly comply with health and safety regulations to foster a zero-incident work environment.
- Maintain detailed documentation of technical observations, incidents, maintenance work, and provide systematic reports to service coordination and asset management teams.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience working with Battery Energy Storage Systems, Photovoltaic systems, medium voltage electrical systems, and industrial IT/networking systems.
- Strong capabilities in troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Fluency in both German and English languages.
- Possession of a full driving license with readiness to travel as part of the role.
- Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and able to deliver practical solutions independently.
