About the Role
ZAD – Marble Slab Creamery in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Food and Beverage Creative & Innovation Specialist passionate about pioneering food trends and product innovation. This position involves transforming market insights into innovative ice cream flavors, seasonal collections, gifting concepts, and memorable brand experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate both global and local trends in food, desserts, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for new and inventive product offerings including ice cream flavors, cakes, seasonal collections, and gift items.
- Create and develop unique gifting products and limited-edition items to enhance brand appeal.
- Design and manage packaging solutions that balance shelf attractiveness, consistent branding, and cost-effectiveness for both everyday and special product lines.
- Conduct competitive analysis to discover growth opportunities and market expansion possibilities.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to successfully bring innovative concepts from idea stage to market launch.
- Oversee product trials, collect and analyze customer feedback, and continually refine the product range accordingly.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in product innovation, product development, market research, or consumer insights within Food & Beverage, desserts, bakery, or FMCG sectors is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food trends and customer behaviors.
- Creative aptitude with a keen eye for product presentation, packaging design, and gift experiences.
- Able to translate innovative ideas into commercially viable products.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management capabilities.
- Preference given to candidates fluent in both Arabic and English.
