Experienced Tyre Fitters – FIFO Roster

Role Overview

We are seeking skilled Tyre Fitters to become an integral part of our Heavy Haulage Maintenance Teams across multiple mining site locations. Successful candidates will maintain an elite fleet of Kenworth C509 trucks with triple side-tipper trailers alongside auxiliary equipment. The role involves working within a tight-knit team supported by advanced facilities designed for high operational standards.

Work Schedule and Location

These permanent full-time positions follow a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster, rotating between day and night shifts. Flight provisions are available from Perth and Brisbane to facilitate FIFO arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring tyre integrity by diagnosing damage and wear on road train vehicles and supportive machinery.
• Removing and replacing wheels safely and efficiently in varied conditions.
• Providing urgent tyre repair services to minimize downtime of haulage equipment.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Fitting or equivalent qualification.
• Hold an unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence, with HR licence preferred.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with heavy vehicles or mobile heavy plant machinery.
• Show a steadfast dedication to workplace safety standards and quality workmanship.
• Be capable of performing physically challenging tasks regularly.
• Have full legal work rights in Australia.
