Executive, Health Policy Management (Non MediSave)

Job Overview

You will join the Health Policy Management team responsible for managing health policies related to IncomeShield and Long Term Care Supplement plans, reporting directly to the team manager.

Primary Duties

• Handle premium refunds and related transactions including allocation, verification, triggering or holding refunds, and expediting urgent requests within stipulated turnaround times.
• Manage customer requests such as refund endorsements, premium inquiries, and credit card chargeback processing.
• Conduct control checks, access reviews, and manage incident handling procedures.
• Carry out regular and ad hoc quality assessments on processes and correspondence.
• Engage in process improvement initiatives by providing input on workflows, letters, and system enhancements.
• Coordinate with various departments for process reviews and investigations.
• Investigate and propose solutions for requests, complaints, and incidents.
• Lead projects aimed at enhancing process effectiveness and efficiency.
• Support company-wide initiatives including reviewing letters, work instructions, forms, and system upgrades.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Diploma, Degree, or an equivalent qualification.
• Capable of managing work effectively under tight deadlines and stressful conditions.
• Possess strong creative problem-solving abilities along with excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Function well within a team environment.
• Willingness to work additional hours when necessary.
• Adept at multitasking and managing multiple concurrent projects.

Additional Competencies

• Prior experience in life and/or health insurance industry along with relevant insurance certifications is advantageous.
• Knowledgeable about the business environment and practices related to insurance intermediaries dealing with individual life or health plans.
