Opportunity Overview
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to a dynamic Managing Director within a growing SME. This role is pivotal in strengthening the leadership team and comes with significant responsibility, autonomy, and visibility within the company.
Role Details
Position is office-based in Chesterfield, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. The salary ranges from £35,000 to £45,000 per year, negotiable depending on experience. The employment includes a competitive benefits package and chances for career growth alongside the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the MD’s diary and email inbox, prioritizing meetings, arranging travel, and handling critical appointments.
- Organize meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Develop high-quality documents and presentations, including reports and proposals.
- Support select key client accounts by arranging meetings, preparing quotes, updating CRM, and managing sales pipelines.
- Serve as a professional liaison with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Handle confidential information with utmost discretion and provide administrative support across departments.
- Assist senior leadership with HR tasks including policy research and managing third-party provider relationships.
- Employ critical thinking and initiative to resolve challenges, collect pertinent data, and offer sound recommendations to decision-makers.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or senior administrator supporting senior leaders.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently under pressure.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Positive, adaptable attitude with honesty, loyalty, and accountability.
- Experience in SME settings and familiarity with business operations is a plus.
