Role overview

An established hospitality group in Dubai is seeking an Executive Assistant focused on operations and analysis to support the Vice President. The position is designed for a highly structured professional who can balance executive coordination, portfolio-level analysis, and cross-functional follow-through across multiple properties in the region.

This is a 12-month contract role with the possibility of renewal. The position reports directly to the Vice President.

Operational support and coordination

  • Serve as the main point of coordination for the VP’s schedule, including calendar planning, meeting sequencing, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Organise travel, itineraries, and logistics for business activities across the region.
  • Build meeting briefs, presentation decks, and executive packs for leadership discussions, property visits, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Maintain action trackers from meetings, reviews, and strategic conversations to help ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Coordinate regional operational review meetings and follow up on outstanding actions across properties.
  • Support property visit planning, documentation, and post-visit follow-up activities.
  • Act as a communication bridge between the VP, General Managers, corporate teams, and outside stakeholders.

Performance analysis

  • Review operational and financial data across the portfolio to surface trends, performance shortfalls, and improvement opportunities.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and executive summaries that support informed decision-making.
  • Assist in evaluating business plans, budgets, and CapEx proposals, offering relevant insight where needed.
  • Track key performance indicators and the progress of initiatives aimed at lifting operational results.
  • Combine portfolio insights into concise reports for leadership updates and strategic reviews.

Project management and strategy execution

  • Support the planning and delivery of strategic initiatives driven by the VP.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and help ensure milestones, timelines, and deliverables stay on track.
  • Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and action points, escalating concerns when required.
  • Assist with portfolio-wide programmes such as renovations, pre-openings, repositioning work, and brand compliance efforts.
  • Prepare governance updates and maintain project records to support oversight and execution.

Experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline. An MBA will be considered an advantage.

Relevant experience of 2 to 4 years is required in hospitality operations, consulting, business analysis, executive support, or multi-property settings.

Skills and requirements

  • Strong analytical ability with the confidence to interpret financial and operational information and turn it into practical recommendations.
  • Experience preparing executive presentations, dashboards, reports, and briefing materials.
  • Background in project coordination, governance reporting, and stakeholder management.
  • Well-developed organisational skills and the ability to juggle several priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the professionalism to engage senior leaders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exposure to reporting platforms and hotel systems would be a plus.
  • Understanding of budgeting, business planning, and operational performance measures is preferred.
  • Experience in luxury hospitality, pre-opening work, or regional operations would be beneficial.

Availability and location

Candidates should be available to start immediately or within 30 days of accepting the offer. The selected person must be able to work in the United Arab Emirates.

Application and review process

Applicants are asked to share a resume along with contact details. Applications will be reviewed within 7 working days. If the profile matches the role, a consultant from Edari will contact the candidate to discuss the opportunity and the next steps.
