Equity Trader - Vice President or Executive Director

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct equity trades including market, agency, and principal orders swiftly and accurately with professional diligence.
• Manage end-to-end client equity transactions ensuring exceptional service and smooth execution processes.
• Continuously track market liquidity, news, and conditions to uncover trading possibilities and anticipate risks.
• Employ analytical and pricing models to guide trade decisions while maintaining rigorous risk controls.
• Align client objectives and firm priorities to foster sustainable revenue generation and franchise expansion.
• Collaborate with Sales, Research, and Marketing teams to initiate new business opportunities and enhance client relationships.
• Provide insights on market developments, emerging products, and trading trends to internal stakeholders.
• Build and nurture trusted internal partnerships for delivering coordinated solutions tailored to clients’ needs.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of analytical and pricing frameworks used in execution and trading.
• In-depth knowledge of equity and related asset classes, with ability to assess their interconnected market impacts.
• Composure and effectiveness in high-pressure, time-sensitive trading environments.
• Strong communication capabilities, able to interact confidently with various seniority levels.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
• Must be a Saudi national.

Preferred Experience

• Prior hands-on exposure to Cash Equities products and market workflows.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabia and broader MENA regional public markets and corporate sectors.
• History of working closely with Sales and Research teams to successfully expand client business and enhance service delivery.
