Role overview
The Environment Officer is in charge of keeping Shonibare Estate clean, sanitary, visually appealing, and environmentally sustainable. This position focuses on day-to-day oversight of sanitation, waste handling, landscaping upkeep, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Core duties
- Oversee cleaning staff to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Track and manage waste disposal and related environmental hygiene activities.
- Look after landscaped and green areas so the estate remains well maintained.
- Support the upkeep of a neat, attractive, and orderly estate environment.
- Ensure operations follow applicable health, safety, and environmental rules and standards.
