Position Summary

The Carpenter role at EXOVATIONS of Atlanta, LLC (EXO) is crucial to the installation of decks, porches, windows, and doors. The carpenter is an integral team member focused on delivering outstanding customer service. The company offers a structured four-level development path, expects candidates to be team players and self-driven individuals.

• Maintain safety and cleanliness at worksites and in vehicles
• Deliver customer satisfaction consistently
• Demonstrate eagerness to progress toward Lead Carpenter positions

Primary Duties and Skills

• Become proficient with all EXO power and pneumatic tools
• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of job sites and materials
• Keep trucks and tools orderly on a daily basis
• Learn all installation procedures for EXO products
• Assist colleagues as needed
• Develop blueprint reading skills and understanding of relevant building codes
• Travel to job locations as required using company transportation
• Perform other tasks assigned by Lead Carpenter or management

Physical and Mental Demands

• Perform physical tasks throughout an 8 to 10-hour shift
• Wear required personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, dust masks, gloves, and safety harnesses when operating above 4 feet
• Operate company vehicles and related equipment responsibly
• Handle vigorous outdoor work including walking, standing, climbing, stooping, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and manual dexterity-dependent activities
• Climb ladders for extended durations
• Carry heavy materials regularly, including lifting weights up to 100 pounds
• Possess good motor coordination, grip strength, and range of motion
• Work under varying climate conditions and tolerate exposure to loud noises
• Use a range of tools such as skill saws, miter saws, nail guns, Sawzall, and general carpentry tools
• Work in environments with dirt, grease, and dust safely around machinery
• Demonstrate proficiency in English reading, writing and comprehension
• Communicate effectively with diverse individuals
• Adapt to fast-paced work environments
• Correctable vision and hearing required

Work Schedule and Compensation

This full-time position follows a Monday through Friday schedule. The hourly wage ranges from $18 to $22.
