Role Overview
As an Employment Consultant based in Echuca, Victoria, you will play a critical role in enabling our participants to find lasting employment. Your responsibilities include offering personalized coaching and job placement assistance, continuously supporting your clients, and collaborating with local employers to identify opportunities that align with participants' goals and requirements. Understanding the unique needs of each client and working closely with employers to connect talent with suitable positions are key components of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customized guidance, coaching, and ongoing support to clients to achieve sustainable employment.
- Identify job opportunities with local employers matching participants' objectives.
- Understand individual client employment needs thoroughly.
- Partner with employers to bridge gaps between workforce supply and demand.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will bring experience and skills including:
- Previous employment in similar Employment Services roles is highly advantageous.
- Experience in customer service, sales, contact centers, or recruitment roles, which will help in succeeding at this position.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and adaptability to dynamic work environments.
- Strong attention to detail, proficiency in administrative duties, and comfort with IT systems.
A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check must be obtained before employment commencement. Additionally, successful applicants are required to set up a myGovID to access government data related to the role.
