Role Overview
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) plays a vital role in delivering prompt, effective, and empathetic pre-hospital emergency treatment to individuals in urgent need. The EMT evaluates the health status of patients, provides necessary emergency interventions, and ensures safe transportation to medical centers while maintaining well-coordinated communication with hospital personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Quickly assess the condition of patients experiencing medical emergencies.
- Administer appropriate and timely emergency medical care at the scene or en route.
- Ensure safe and efficient transportation of patients to healthcare facilities.
- Maintain clear and continuous communication with hospital teams for seamless patient handover.
