E-commerce Returns Management Executive

Job Overview

The E-commerce Returns Management Executive will oversee the entire return workflow for multiple online marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, AJIO, among others. The position demands thorough handling of returned shipments through verification, scanning, reconciliation, quality assessment and precise updating of return and inventory data.

Primary Responsibilities

• Accept and inspect returned shipments from courier vendors.
• Count and reconcile packages prior to OTP verification.
• Scan packages to complete return receipt processing.
• Sort returns according to marketplace and account.
• Validate return data in Excel sheets with physical packages.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on returned items.
• Classify products into categories including Pass, Damaged, Used, Defective, or Reject.
• Accurately update return statuses within ERP, WMS, or Excel systems.
• Collaborate with Warehouse and Inventory departments for stock updates.
• Generate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly returns reports.
• Report discrepancies such as missing or extra packages promptly.
• Adhere strictly to company standard operating procedures during all return operations.
• Keep detailed records of all return-related transactions and maintain data confidentiality.
• Engage with relevant internal teams to resolve return processing concerns efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters, and fundamental formulas.
• Familiarity with e-commerce returns management procedures.
• Strong abilities in reconciliation and data analysis.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Compensation

This full-time role offers a monthly salary ranging between 18,000 and 20,000 INR.
