Role Overview

We are recruiting a full-time Drycleaner based on-site in Ibadan. The role involves handling garment intake, accurately tagging, evaluating fabric types, stain severity, and care instructions to determine suitable cleaning techniques. Daily duties encompass operating drycleaning machinery, safe handling and mixing of cleaning chemicals, pre-treating stains, and spot cleaning when necessary. Additionally, the Drycleaner is responsible for pressing, steaming, finishing garments to high professional standards, folding, packaging, and preparing items for customer collection or delivery. Maintaining a clean, safe workspace, adhering to safety and environmental protocols, and demonstrating courteous interaction with customers and teammates are essential aspects of the position.

Qualifications and Skills

• Hands-on experience or formal training in laundry and drycleaning procedures, including fabric recognition, stain treatment, and machine use.
• Capacity to interpret care labels, execute cleaning protocols, and comply with safety guidelines, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Basic skills in customer service, such as polite communication, dependability, and professional handling of customer garments and inquiries.
• Physical capability to remain standing for long durations, lift and transport laundry items, and operate efficiently in a busy setting.
• Eagerness to learn, adhere to company policies, and collaborate within a team to achieve daily goals and meet service deadlines.
• Prior experience in laundry or drycleaning services is beneficial but not required.
