Job Overview
A well-established and expanding manufacturer is seeking an experienced Director of Manufacturing to oversee production activities involving multiple semi-custom projects within a technically advanced setting. The position demands a proactive leader with substantial expertise in composite manufacturing materials to enhance process execution, operational efficiency, and team effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations across various high-performance, semi-custom manufacturing builds.
- Coordinate workforce management, scheduling, and resource distribution to adhere to deadlines while optimizing efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety guidelines, and performance benchmarks on the shop floor.
- Collaborate with senior management to implement production strategies aligned with scaling business objectives.
- Promote continuous improvements in production planning, operational workflows, and manufacturing execution.
Qualifications
- More than 10 years of experience in semi-custom manufacturing sectors such as marine, aerospace, or related fields.
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise working with composite materials.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in managing and developing production and shop floor teams.
- In-depth knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and managing complex multi-build environments.
