Role overview
This position is focused on process excellence for solar cell manufacturing. The role involves building robust operating methods, improving process performance, supporting new technology integration, and coordinating closely with multiple internal teams to maintain quality, control, and production efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for equipment and modern manufacturing processes, working in coordination with stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
- Analyze electrical and process parameter data using SPC methods in MS Excel and Minitab, and convert findings into MIS reports.
- Plan, run, and document experiments and design-of-experiment studies, then present detailed outcome analysis.
- Support the creation and upkeep of technical and quality documentation, including PFDs, work instructions, SOPs, MQPs, SPC records, RMRs, guidelines, ISO documents, and other related files.
- Work with Production, Process, Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Project, and Utility teams on cross-functional tasks.
- Assess training requirements and deliver technical and safety training to operators, GETs, and engineers on solar cell technology, process control, SPC, and 5S practices.
- Strengthen quality systems and internal process controls to help manufacturing operations meet business objectives.
- Handle new process integration activities for PERC and bifacial technologies.
- Support efficiency improvement initiatives as per the roadmap and help develop processes for emerging technologies such as Selective Emitter, PERC Bifacial, and TOPCon.
Candidate profile
