About the Role

Salt Marsh Pizza, a locally owned Domino's franchise rapidly expanding in central Georgia, is seeking dedicated individuals to become Delivery Experts. We are committed to providing value and positively impacting the lives of our customers and team members one order at a time.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas promptly and safely to customers' homes and businesses, navigating multi-story buildings and various terrain.
• Operate delivery vehicle with a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record in accordance with company standards.
• Distribute flyers and door hangers in designated neighborhoods.
• Stock and handle ingredients, perform food preparation tasks as needed.
• Maintain equipment and follow store protocols for food safety and quality.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle suitable for deliveries.
• Demonstrated navigational skills for map reading and locating delivery addresses efficiently.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and exposure to food odors and dust.
• Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying trays, climbing stairs, and pushing or pulling equipment.
• Excellent communication skills to process orders over the phone and with customers.
• Basic math skills to handle money accurately and perform calculations quickly.

Physical and Environmental Demands

• Frequent standing and walking on various surfaces including tiled and linoleum floors.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures from coolers and ovens.
• Working in confined spaces such as walk-in coolers.
• Handling hot equipment and navigating sharp or moving parts safely.
• Deliveries may require walking up to multiple flights of stairs carrying orders.

Training and Advancement

Comprehensive on-the-job orientation and training is provided. Many employees start as delivery drivers and advance to managerial roles or franchise ownership positions.

Additional Information

• Deliver product directly to customers’ doors using personal vehicle.
• You will be handling deliveries multiple times per shift within a designated service area.
