Delivery Driver

About the Role

Domino's Pizza is seeking motivated Delivery Drivers to join their team in Oneonta, NY. Drivers will enjoy listening to their own music and spending time driving their personal vehicle while earning tips and an hourly wage. This role is open to individuals aged 18 and above who have at least two years of driving experience. New hires will receive full training on job duties beyond driving.

Work Details

• Part-time positions with flexible schedules are also available, as well as full-time roles.
• Drivers receive hourly payment plus mileage reimbursement and tips, paid weekly.
• Availability for closing shifts and weekends is preferred, including Saturday, Sunday, or alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• At least two years of verifiable driving history.
• Consistent employment history.
• Must comply with company standards regarding motor vehicle records, Department of Transportation, CSA, and criminal background checks.
• Experience transporting food or beverages is beneficial.
• Ability to frequently lift items weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Capability to safely navigate vehicles in tight spaces and busy traffic.

Driving History Requirements

• Drivers aged 18 must provide proof of two years driving history immediately prior to the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) evaluation.
• Drivers aged 19 must provide at least one year of driving history prior to the MVR date.
• Learning permit periods may be counted when verified by appropriate government authorities; however, only valid licenses are accepted for driving.

Driving Record Restrictions

• No more than two traffic violations (e.g., speeding, failure to obey signals) in the past two years from the MVR date.
• No more than three traffic violations in the last three years from the MVR date.
• No more than one at-fault accident during the past three years prior to the MVR date.
• Drivers with offenses such as leaving accident scenes, hit and runs, reckless driving, drug or alcohol related violations, vehicular homicide or assault, unlawful racing, or evading officers are disqualified.
