Data Scientist

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist based in Singapore with over three years of expertise in analytics and machine learning to design and implement robust AI and data-driven solutions that effectively address complex business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and deploy advanced AI and machine learning systems for business problem-solving.
• Conduct comprehensive data analyses, perform feature engineering, and optimize predictive models.
• Create and manage full lifecycle ML pipelines adhering to MLOps standards.
• Partner with stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to deliver actionable data-driven results.
• Develop and maintain deep learning, statistical, and forecasting models.
• Handle large-scale structured and unstructured datasets using contemporary data engineering methodologies.
• Implement Generative AI, large language models, embeddings, vector database techniques, and AI frameworks as pertinent.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions through thorough code reviews and documentation maintenance.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative disciplines.
• Minimum of three years working experience in data science or machine learning roles.
• Strong command of Python, SQL, R, and Shell scripting.
• Proven expertise in machine learning, deep learning models, statistical analysis, and predictive analytics.
• Practical experience with MLOps practices and deploying models on cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with Transformer architectures, reinforcement learning methods, and optimization strategies.
• Knowledge of Generative AI technologies, LLMs, LangChain, LangGraph, embeddings, and vector database solutions.
• Understanding of data engineering principles including ELT/ETL processes, data transformation, and relational database management.
• Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving capabilities, and critical thinking acumen.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in building production-ready AI and ML applications.
• Familiarity with cloud-native AI services, deployment workflows, and pipelines.
• Skills in data visualization and monitoring model performance in production.
• Knowledge of software development life cycles, including version control and CI/CD processes tailored for ML.
