Role Overview

The position offered is a contract role for a Data Science Specialist working fully remotely. Compensation ranges from $120 to $170 per hour.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop precise grading standards tailored to real-world data science outputs such as analytic reports, predictive models, dashboards, and experimental results.
• Evaluate AI-created and human-generated work samples against established benchmarks, providing thorough written explanations for all assigned scores.
• Apply evidence-grounded, consistent judgment ensuring results can be replicated and defended.
• Utilize feedback from senior evaluators and iterate rapidly on assessments.
• Operate independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and contribute to the enhancement of AI model performance.

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data science within industry settings.
• Experience in business operations, product management, or growth data science at leading technology firms.
• Strong expertise in experimental design, A/B testing, metric development, SQL and Python data analysis, and effectively communicating insights to executive leadership.
• Exceptional written communication skills.
• Detail-focused, reliable, and comfortable with peer review and judgement calibration.

Preferred Experience

• Previous involvement in AI training initiatives, evaluation methods, or projects integrating human-derived data.
