Role Overview
This position of Data Management Specialist is a full-time, on-premise role located at The Gates Luxury Apartment in Nsukka. The specialist’s primary responsibility involves organizing, maintaining, and protecting resident and operational data across multiple systems and databases. Daily duties include verifying data accuracy, updating records, resolving inconsistencies, and generating reports that aid leasing, maintenance, finance, and management functions. The individual will establish and enforce data governance policies, monitor data quality metrics, and assist in master data management concerning residents, property units, and service requests. Collaboration with on-site teams to ensure uniform data entry, assistance with system upgrades or migrations, and strict adherence to data privacy and confidentiality policies are also essential.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in Data Management and Master Data Management to efficiently oversee resident and property information.
- Experience implementing Data Governance and maintaining high Data Quality standards, including establishing controls and processes to keep data accurate and secure.
- Advanced analytical abilities to interpret datasets, identify patterns, and create actionable reports for operational and managerial use.
- Familiarity with databases, property management software or ERP systems, and data analysis tools like Excel and reporting applications is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational aptitude, and capability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in an on-site setting.
- Preferably educational background in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Knowledge of data privacy, security protocols, and compliance requirements is beneficial.
