Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive, data-driven strategies analyzing the entire business lifecycle of cross-border payment operations including transaction processing, clearing, foreign exchange settlement, risk controls, revenue streams, and capital flows.
• Establish and maintain standardized data analysis frameworks and KPI metrics to conduct detailed business reviews, optimize growth opportunities, and perform risk evaluations that assist in critical management decisions.
• Lead the design, construction, and maintenance of the data warehouse, data middle platform, and BI visualization tools by coordinating cross-functional business and technical teams, executing full-cycle data governance including unified standards, data layering, and access control systems.
• Drive collaboration among business, risk, operations, finance, and product teams to capture core data requirements, implement daily data monitoring, set up early warning systems, and conduct routine business reviews to uncover growth prospects and operational challenges.
• Manage and inspire the BI and Data Engineering teams by defining workflows, delegating tasks effectively across data analysis, BI development, data engineering, and platform maintenance, while enhancing team capabilities and fostering cross-team cooperation to deliver valuable business results and successful project completions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A minimum of eight years’ experience in data analysis and management within cross-border payment or fintech sectors, with deep knowledge of payment operations, including collections, payment processing, clearing, compliance, and risk management.
• Strong commercial data acumen with the ability to independently construct business-relevant data analysis frameworks, identify core business issues, and devise actionable insights and optimization strategies.
• Expertise in conceptualizing and overseeing the architecture of data platforms, warehouses, and middle platforms coupled with extensive understanding of full data governance processes; capable of directing platform development without hands-on programming.
• At least two years managing data teams comprising BI and Data Engineering professionals, demonstrating skill in objective breakdown, workflow enhancement, team development, cross-departmental coordination, resilience under pressure, and robust business insight.
• Proficiency in SQL, data analytics tools, and BI visualization software.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Data Analysis, or related fields preferred.
