Role overview
The Data Entry Analyst position focuses on accurately capturing, checking, and working with data so day-to-day operations and reporting stay reliable. The role blends standard data-entry work with light analysis, validation, and report preparation.
In this position, you will handle information from spreadsheets, databases, and internal tools, keeping records organized and up to date. You will also look for missing items, inconsistencies, and quality issues, then help resolve them so the data remains dependable for business use.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, structured processes, and using basic analytical thinking to support data-driven decisions.
What you will do
- Input, revise, and maintain records in databases and internal systems
- Check information for completeness, consistency, and accuracy
- Spot data issues such as errors, gaps, and mismatches, and help fix them
- Carry out basic validation and simple data analysis tasks
- Prepare summaries, reports, and other data-related documentation
- Support efforts to improve data quality and protect data integrity
- Keep digital files, records, and datasets well organized
- Work with other teams to clear up data-related questions or problems
- Handle information confidentially and follow established data procedures
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and general administrative support when required
