Role Overview

We are seeking an entry-level Data Analyst to join our Performance & Analytics team within Care Operations. This role involves working closely with leadership to translate payer, clinical, and operational data into insightful dashboards, reports, and workflows that support our value-based cardiology business. The position demands hands-on data extraction, validation, and report creation, with a strong emphasis on continuous learning and collaborative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and support regular performance reports (daily, weekly, monthly) that inform leadership on program status.
• Design, develop, and update dashboards and scorecards using tools like Retool and BI platforms to monitor operational performance, SLA pacing, and key indicators.
• Extract, validate, and perform quality assurance on data sourced from operational systems to guarantee accuracy.
• Contribute to clinical performance reporting relating to medication adherence, post-discharge visits, care gaps, and quality measures such as HEDIS and Stars.
• Investigate anomalies such as missed targets, unexpected trends, and data inconsistencies to refine reporting accuracy.
• Create and maintain workflows, lists, and attributes necessary for Care Operations reporting and program functionality.
• Ensure data cleanliness and consistency for dependable reporting and visualization.
• Adapt to evolving reporting needs as contracts and programs change.
• Take initiative to address new analytical or operational challenges, including launching dashboards and supporting program implementations.

First 90-Day Milestones

• Gain comprehensive knowledge of Chamber's payer contracts and associated performance metrics.
• Manage recurring reports and dashboards independently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Assume complete responsibility for at least one dashboard or scorecard.
• Identify and remediate data quality or process issues to enhance reporting reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Proficient in Excel functions such as lookups, pivot tables, and data cleansing.
• Basic SQL proficiency or strong aptitude to learn rapidly.
• Familiar with business intelligence/dashboarding applications like Retool, Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Curious mindset and comfortable seeking clarification to improve understanding.
• Adept at working with imperfect data sets and refining them into reliable outputs.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in analytics, data, or operations, including internships or academic projects.
• Background in healthcare sectors such as payer, provider, or health technology; familiarity with value-based care is advantageous.
• Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
• Exposure to Python programming, particularly for data manipulation and automation.
• Proactive approach with strong ownership over regular deliverables.
• Clear communication skills, including documentation and raising pertinent questions.
• Passion for improving cardiology patient and provider outcomes.
• Detail orientation coupled with eagerness to learn healthcare and value-based care domains.

Additional Information

This remote role requires the ability to work Eastern or Central Time hours, with occasional travel to clinical sites or Chamber offices as needed.
