CSR (Account Manager) for P&C Insurance

Overview

Safhire is an outsourcing firm that connects experienced South African professionals with remote positions serving US-based companies. This opportunity is for a CSR / Account Manager who will support a Property and Casualty insurance agency with client account service, policy administration, and marketing-related support work. Candidates should already have practical experience in P&C insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage active client accounts and take care of day-to-day administrative and policy servicing tasks.
• Research property details online and enter the information into the appropriate systems.
• Prepare policy quotes and applications, including identifying the correct documents and required data fields.
• Coordinate requests for loss runs from insurance carriers.
• Keep banking and payment details updated in the system.
• Track and follow up on escrow transfers with lenders and title companies.
• Assist with policy marketing activities across the agency’s existing book of business.

Requirements

• Prior experience in Property and Casualty insurance is required; experience in life or health insurance does not meet this need.
• Experience working with insurance agency management software is important, and EZLynx is a strong advantage.
• You should be highly detail-oriented and able to stay on top of time-sensitive items such as loss runs and escrow payments.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills are needed for ongoing follow-ups with clients and carriers.
• Availability to work 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST Monday through Thursday, and 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST on Fridays.
