Role Overview
More Perfect Union is looking for a creative, highly driven Creator Video Lead to help expand its contributor program and shape how new talent is found, coached, and developed. This person will need sharp editorial judgement, strong social media instincts, a clear understanding of MPU’s mission, and enthusiasm for helping build a creator network that advances the interests of working people.
The role serves as a main contact for creators throughout the video production workflow. It involves helping creators improve their production skills, refine story ideas, and deliver engaging vertical videos each week that broaden MPU’s reach and connect with a wide audience. The position also supports creator discovery and talent development so contributors can grow their partnership with MPU over time.
Key Responsibilities
The Creator Video Lead will work closely with MPU leadership and the social media team to identify timely opportunities, guide creator output, and strengthen distribution. The role includes overseeing weekly vertical video production, shaping pitches and scripts, reviewing edits, writing copy that boosts engagement, tracking performance metrics, mentoring creators, and helping manage creator-related contracts and communication. The position also calls for staying on top of trends in the creator ecosystem and turning those insights into action that supports MPU’s growth, especially on TikTok.
Compensation and Employment Details
Compensation for this position is $85,000 per year. The role is salaried, full time, remote, and classified as contract work.
Qualifications and Expectations
The ideal candidate brings strong editorial judgement, social-first storytelling instincts, comfort working with creators and influencers, and the ability to produce work that is accurate, timely, and relevant. This person should be prepared to coach others, collaborate across teams, manage multiple moving parts, and help expand MPU’s creator strategy in a fast-moving media environment.
