Role Overview
The Country Manager role, based full-time on-site in the United Kingdom, involves comprehensive oversight of local operations encompassing sales, business development, and distribution efforts. This position requires ensuring that activities align with the overarching company objectives and performance benchmarks. Daily duties include managing significant customer and partner relationships, leading local teams effectively, monitoring industry trends, and pinpointing avenues for growth within the solar and renewable energy sectors.
Additional responsibilities include preparing budgets, forecasting outcomes, delivering performance reports, and guaranteeing adherence to regional regulations alongside internal company policies. Collaborating closely with regional and global leadership teams, the Country Manager will focus on enhancing brand visibility, operational productivity, and profitability for the UK market in the long term.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams and cultivating a collaborative organizational culture.
- Proven success in sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles, preferably within solar, renewable energy, or related fields.
- Strong competency in market analysis, strategic planning, and performance reporting to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement, enabling effective interactions with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Experience in budget management, operational oversight, and compliance with local legal and corporate standards.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a similar discipline; advanced education is a plus.
- Familiarity with UK markets and a genuine passion for clean energy and sustainability initiatives.
- Ability to work full-time on location, juggle multiple responsibilities, and rapidly adapt in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
