  • Gain deep insights into organisational operations by understanding key business processes, risks, and controls, identifying opportunities to enhance control design and effectiveness.
  • Apply professional judgment in evaluating control effectiveness and risk exposure beyond standard prescriptive testing methods.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to build their confidence and technical skills within client environments.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of two years of experience in internal audit, controls assurance, or risk advisory, including work related to financial controls, governance, and operational process reviews.
  • Professional services firm experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor of Commerce degree, ideally majoring in Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, or Management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey risk and control concepts to diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with the capacity to comprehend broader business and risk contexts.
  • Problem-solving ability to identify control weaknesses and propose practical, well-reasoned solutions.
  • Interest in fostering a high-performing team environment through coaching and development of colleagues.
