The Compliance team at Bauer Media Outdoor drives governance, sustainability, and innovation within its operations.

Role Overview

This role involves supporting compliance efforts across the organization, focusing on governance, sustainability, and compliance program management. The paralegal will oversee third-party due diligence, administration of compliance learning management systems (LMS), and coordination between nine business units through close collaboration with Local Compliance Officers. A key responsibility includes promoting responsible use of AI to boost operational efficiency while upholding company values such as trust, passion, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support delivery of compliance initiatives focusing on critical risk areas including data privacy, anti-bribery and corruption, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria.
• Assist the Local Compliance Officer community to maintain consistent compliance standards.
• Manage core compliance platforms such as the Compliance LMS and oversee third-party due diligence procedures.
• Monitor and update key registers including travel and gifts as well as project documentation to ensure compliance alignment.
• Collaborate with business units to develop local compliance processes and maintain the Compliance Risk Register for effective risk management.
• Support audit activities, internal investigations, and risk escalations working closely with legal, audit, and operational teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience as a paralegal either in-house or within private practice, with demonstrated support for compliance programs and system administration.
• Proficient legal research skills focused on data privacy, anti-bribery and corruption, or competition law.
• Degree level education or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience handling administrative tasks involving Compliance LMS, workflow tools, or contract lifecycle management platforms.
• Good familiarity with legal documentation, along with strong legal drafting and document review capabilities.
