Role Overview

Our Legal team provides clear, actionable advice that balances speed and protection, enabling secure and compliant business growth. We are seeking a Junior Complaints Legal Counsel to join the team and contribute to our expansion by managing dispute resolution matters and offering guidance on legal disputes.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the full process of resolving out-of-court disputes and consumer protection complaints with Greek regulatory bodies.
• Managing dispute-related issues by reviewing and drafting formal legal replies to claims.
• Collaborating with external law firms in Greece to handle ongoing litigation cases.
• Providing legal counsel on escalated dispute tickets related to branch operations.
• Supporting the creation of legal documents and refining internal procedures to enhance dispute management efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• Hold a bachelor's degree in law and be an active member of a Greek Bar Association.
• Have experience working in a law firm or as in-house counsel, preferably within banking or financial sectors.
• Possess knowledge of dispute resolution, litigation processes, or financial regulatory law.
• Able to communicate clearly and draft formal legal documents in both English and Greek.
• Demonstrate skill coordinating with external legal counsel and internal teams proactively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in alternative dispute resolution, especially within financial services, such as via the Hellenic Consumers’ Ombudsman or Hellenic Financial Ombudsman.
• Familiarity with Greek Consumer Protection Law, PSD2 implementation in Greece, and Bank of Greece regulations.
• Interest in fintech industry developments.
