Job Overview

This fully remote contract role supports the UKG Ready COBRA Administration platform. It is well suited to someone with a background in benefits administration, health insurance, HCM, or COBRA administration who can combine strong customer service with accuracy, compliance awareness, and issue resolution.

In this position, you will work with customers, participants, brokers, and internal stakeholders to answer questions, troubleshoot problems, assist with open enrollment work, and guide users through COBRA administration processes.

Schedule and Engagement Details

The assignment runs for 5 months and follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST. This is a 40-hour-per-week role with no overtime and no weekend work.

The interview process consists of one 30-minute Microsoft Teams interview, with a possible second round if needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day support for the UKG Ready COBRA Administration platform.
  • Assist with COBRA and open enrollment initiatives from start to finish.
  • Investigate customer issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Work with clients, brokers, and internal teams to keep projects moving smoothly.
  • Lead virtual training sessions on the product for customers.
  • Use Excel and analytical thinking to organize data and solve problems.
  • Keep records accurate and make sure work stays aligned with COBRA compliance requirements.
  • Communicate clearly, follow up proactively, and set expectations with customers.
  • Support a high-quality customer experience through prompt and effective issue handling.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in customer support, benefits administration, COBRA administration, or implementation.
  • Background in HCM, employee benefits, or health insurance.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Clear and effective written and spoken communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a busy environment.
