Overview
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Business Intelligence Manager to lead healthcare analytics projects that convert clinical and operational data into actionable insights. This role contributes to the advancement of AI systems by helping interpret complex healthcare information, facilitating better machine reasoning in high-impact clinical contexts.
This is a remote, flexible contract engagement ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week, designed for seasoned professionals eager to impact healthcare AI development on their own schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide a business intelligence team in creating dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that empower clinical and operational decision-makers.
- Maintain and enhance BI infrastructure including data modeling, SQL query optimization, and reporting workflows to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Examine clinical, operational, and performance data to identify trends, inform leadership, and enhance healthcare delivery efficiency.
- Simplify complex healthcare datasets into trustworthy, actionable insights for stakeholders without technical backgrounds.
- Leverage domain expertise to assess and refine AI outputs concerning clinical data and analytics processes.
Candidate Profile
- Substantial experience in healthcare/clinical analytics, business intelligence, or health data management.
- Proven success designing and managing BI systems in real healthcare environments, including reporting pipelines and dashboards.
- Comfortable working with clinical, operational, and administrative data within regulated healthcare settings.
- Effective communication skills to translate complex data into straightforward decision-making guidance.
- Self-motivated and dependable, capable of delivering high-quality results autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data annotation, quality assessment, or AI training processes.
- Knowledge of clinical coding standards, electronic health record (EHR) platforms, or population health analytics tools.
- Background in healthcare informatics, epidemiology, or systemic health research.
- Familiarity with evaluating or working alongside large language models (LLMs).
