Cleaner

Overview

Tongaat Hulett is hiring a trustworthy and physically capable Cleaner to join its Distribution team at the Voermol Feeds plant located in Tongaat, KwaZulu-Natal. This role focuses on maintaining hygiene standards within the factory premises and assisting the bagging team to ensure efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough cleaning of the factory environment and equipment, including aid in removing blockages.
• Uphold cleanliness standards throughout all factory levels, tearooms, and assist in ingredient preparation for tea.
• Provide backup assistance to bagging crew members as necessary.
• Coordinate activities by communicating with supervisors and fellow bagging personnel.
• Promptly notify the Distribution Coordinator of any quality irregularities or housekeeping issues observed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completed Grade 12 education with proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Minimum one year experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
• Physically fit, reliable, enthusiastic, and adept at teamwork.
