Role Overview

We are urgently seeking a reliable Cashier to join a restaurant team in Chennai on a full-time basis. The candidate will manage payment transactions and interact professionally with customers while maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Process various payment methods including cash, UPI, and card transactions.
• Generate bills and issue receipts to customers promptly.
• Keep daily records of cash flow and sales figures diligently.
• Operate billing and POS (Point of Sale) systems effectively.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to confirm and coordinate customer orders.
• Ensure the cash register balances correctly at all times.
• Offer courteous and professional assistance to customers throughout their visit.
• Prepare and submit daily collection reports to management for review.

Candidate Requirements

• Basic computer skills with familiarity in billing software.
• Strong communication abilities for smooth customer interaction.
• Preferably possess elementary knowledge of accounting principles.
• Demonstrate honesty, accountability, and punctuality.
• Previous experience working as a cashier in a restaurant setting is advantageous.
