Cashier - Full-Time Hourly Position with Flexible Shifts

Role Overview

Become part of a locally owned and operated retail store dedicated to providing health, beauty, and convenience services within your community. This role centers around delivering exceptional customer support and maintaining an orderly checkout environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging warmly and positively with every customer.
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Welcome customers with a friendly attitude, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
• Precisely scan or enter product information during transactions.
• Accurately manage cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum redemptions.
• Request customers' PC Optimum cards during each sale to ensure rewards accrual.
• Complete required documentation related to customer receipts and merchandise returns.
• Perform merchandising duties such as facing products, signing, and labeling designated sections.
• Follow all loss prevention procedures to safeguard store assets.
• Control inventory related to cash, lottery tickets, and stamps to prevent discrepancies.
• Adhere strictly to the company’s uniform and dress code guidelines for a professional appearance.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and internal store policies.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and store image.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is between $18.25 and $20.30 per hour. Compensation will be influenced by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and the geographic location of the store.
