Retraining Program Details
- The approximately one-year program gradually equips you with the skills needed for this profession.
- The curriculum balances theory and practical experience, allowing hands-on learning.
- You will be mentored by experienced colleagues, enabling a smooth transition even for newcomers.
- Theoretical lessons are conducted near your residence; practical assignments mostly take place in your future work areas.

Post-Retraining Responsibilities
- Ensure that no one is harmed on our track construction sites by working as part of a team.
- Warn personnel in track areas using various signals and modern alert systems against oncoming trains.
- Enforce safety protocols and provide training to new safety posts.
- Maintain communication with multiple stakeholders for seamless operations.
- Independently organize and supervise safety measures on construction sites.
Candidate Profile
- Must be at least 18 years old with a secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss).
- Prior experience is not required; reliability and commitment to safety are essential.
- Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Proficient in German communication, both spoken and written.
- Flexible regarding night shifts, weekend work, and variable locations.
- A category B driving license and personal vehicle are advantageous but not mandatory.
Applications from already certified construction site safety specialists, safety posts, and supervisory roles are also welcome.
