Care Taker

About the Role

CareOff is looking for compassionate and responsible Caregivers, Elder Caregivers, Babysitters, Care Companions, and Caretakers to assist families with childcare and senior care. This position requires a professional demeanor, proper grooming, and communication abilities in English, Hindi, and Marathi.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children or elderly individuals at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the living environment.
• Adhere strictly to family routines and follow instructions carefully.
• Report immediately any emergencies or health concerns.
• Use mobile phones only when necessary.

Child Care Specific Duties:

• Assist with dressing and grooming children.
• Engage children with play, reading, and basic educational activities.
• Keep toys and rooms orderly and clean.
• Respect sleeping and meal schedules.
• Accompany children to parks or school if permitted.

Elder Care Specific Duties:

• Assist with walking or wheelchair mobility.
• Remind elders to take medications as scheduled.
• Provide meals following instructions.
• Offer conversation and emotional support.
• Keep their rooms safe and clean.

Professional Conduct and Standards

• Maintain neat grooming, daily baths, clean attire, tidy hair, and trimmed nails.
• Avoid strong perfumes and always wear the provided CareOff uniform during duty.
• Communicate politely and respectfully in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
• Provide regular updates to family members and follow instructions attentively.
• Treat elders, children, and family with respect without engaging in shouting, arguments, or gossip.
• Abide by household rules, minimal personal phone use, and maintain the family's privacy.
• Be punctual and adhere to scheduled shifts, informing the family if delayed.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age between 18 and 38 years.
• Male or female candidates.
• Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Marathi languages.
• Good behavior and professional attitude.
• Willingness to comply with grooming standards.
• No prior experience required as training will be provided.
