Role Overview
The Car Valeter position is a full-time role based on-site in Warrington. Responsibilities encompass washing, drying, polishing, and waxing vehicle exteriors, as well as vacuuming and cleaning interiors including upholstery, dashboards, windows, and trims to a superior standard. The job requires safe use of valeting tools and products, adherence to company protocols, and completing quality checklists for every vehicle. Valeters engage professionally with customers and colleagues, report any damages or issues, maintain an organized workspace, assist with vehicle handovers, prepare vehicles for sale or return, and always comply with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Effective customer service abilities with clear, polite communication.
- Basic automotive understanding and prior experience in valeting, detailing, or similar vehicle-related roles.
- Willingness to undergo training and follow established processes emphasizing continuous quality improvement.
- Comfort in supporting sales efforts, including upselling cleaning packages when appropriate.
- Knowledge of insurance and vehicle condition records, with precise reporting of any damage or concerns.
- Physical endurance, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently under diverse weather conditions.
- Dependable time management, a strong work ethic, and teamwork skills alongside independent work capability.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving history is preferred.
