About the Role
This position focuses on leading the transformation of the Private Banking segment by converting deposits into active investments, expanding Assets Under Management (AUM), boosting investment revenue, and capturing international wealth flows. The incumbent will leverage key wealth markets—India, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt—to attract high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals to the bank’s Qatar, Switzerland, and other prominent financial booking centers.
Key areas of responsibility include defining strategic growth, enhancing advisory services, refining product offerings, and creating a competitive wealth management proposition to gain market share and deepen client relationships.
Scope and Exposure

Primary Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement growth strategies to increase investment uptake and AUM.
- Convert deposit accounts into investment and advisory products.
- Drive growth in investment revenue, fee income, and wallet share within private banking portfolios.
- Set market share targets aligned with the strategic focus regions.
- Develop and execute client acquisition models targeting cross-border wealth flows.
- Build strategic partnerships to access target markets effectively.
- Segment clients precisely and develop tailored acquisition and coverage frameworks.
- Enhance product and advisory offerings including portfolio solutions, mutual and structured funds, equities, bonds, wealth lending, leverage financing, FX solutions, and Lombard lending.
- Lead recruitment, training, and capability building of Relationship Managers (RMs) to advance advisory excellence.
- Strengthen Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and portfolio advisory capabilities to ensure unified investment messaging.
- Define digital platform requirements to enhance onboarding, advisory services, investment execution, and client servicing journeys.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and market positioning to recommend strategic initiatives.
Experience and Profile Requirements
- 12+ years in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Investments, or International Advisory focused on HNW/UHNW markets.
- Demonstrated success in AUM expansion, investment revenue generation, and client acquisition globally.
- Comprehensive understanding of private banking business models and investment products.
- Strong commercial awareness with a focus on growth and advisory capability development.
- Fluency in Arabic and English and presence in Qatar mandated.
Business Analyst Role Overview
Supporting the growth strategy, this role analyzes wealth opportunities, assists in segmentation, gathers product requirements, and facilitates digital platform enhancements to improve AUM and investment revenues. Covering wealth markets similar to the business lead role, the analyst also supports operational and advisory enablement.
- Analyze private banking portfolio data and wealth trends.
- Support development of client personas, acquisition tactics, and market analysis.
- Assist in identifying product gaps and advisory enhancements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and report performance metrics including AUM growth and client acquisition effectiveness.
