About the Role
Paylidify is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to lead and expand its Vancouver-based Business Development Representative (BDR) and Sales Development Representative (SDR) team. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager of Business Development, you will oversee both inbound and outbound sales initiatives, fostering pipeline growth and ensuring the team sets high-quality appointments with new small and medium business (SMB) clients for Account Executives, enabling them to reach their sales objectives. This leadership role is vital for expanding Paylidify's sales force, nurturing talent, and significantly growing the customer base. Collaboration with varied departments across multiple locations will also be a key part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Paylidify’s products and services, understanding how they contribute to client growth
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of BDRs and SDRs to surpass performance goals and quotas
- Effectively manage a multi-faceted sales pipeline to speed up the sales process
- Leverage Paylidify’s sales enablement tools to keep sales data accurate and support consistent achievement of monthly sales targets
- Support the team continuously through call coaching, shadowing, and pipeline assessments to boost productivity and opportunity quality
- Adopt a solutions-oriented sales strategy that creates urgency, identifies business challenges, and offers customized value propositions
- Develop and sustain a high-achieving team culture focused on results and motivation
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Administration, and Account Executives to align sales plans and enhance account onboarding and conversion
- Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
- Continuously meet and exceed monthly sales objectives
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in coaching and mentoring with a passion for developing future sales leaders
- Proven track record in building and managing high-performing sales teams focusing on lead generation, qualification, and pipeline management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration and feedback across departments
- Competent in using sales tools and CRM systems to monitor performance and enhance team productivity
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the capability to handle multiple priorities and adjust to dynamic business demands
- Driven to achieve success with professionalism and strong customer service skills
- Leadership aptitude with the ability to inspire and manage teams
Additional Information
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
