Role Overview
The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and managing business requirements, translating them into IT solutions, and supporting their delivery through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role involves close collaboration with business owners to propose and implement strategic and tactical technology solutions that improve daily operations and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business owners to collect requirements and lead initiatives through SDLC to develop IT solutions aligned with business strategies.
- Facilitate interactive sessions including requirements gathering and screen mockup presentations to empower business processes.
- Create comprehensive requirements documentation, including use case definitions, and present clear, stakeholder-friendly materials.
- Analyze and articulate business requirements using modeling tools to ensure clarity, completeness, and lack of ambiguity for the development team.
- Develop process maps and documents such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), or Change Requests to align project scope with business needs and quality standards.
- Lead project delivery using agile methodologies, serving as Scrum Master in daily scrum meetings to ensure feature-based application deployment.
- Maintain and update project schedules detailing activities, timelines, critical paths, and risk management plans, using project management tools to guarantee timely delivery.
- Coordinate across multiple teams including product owners, infrastructure, development, and vendors to ensure the final product meets functional and timeline expectations established during requirement analysis.
- Approach requirements holistically across all business stakeholders to identify upstream and downstream impacts, aiding in building robust and scalable products.
