About the Role
Join our global Governance and Experience team dedicated to creating a secure and trustworthy platform for users and partners alike. We prioritize user experience by developing policies, rules, products, and systems that ensure quality. We are seeking motivated professionals to collaboratively build an innovative, safe, and intuitive commerce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and enforce strategies and frameworks to adhere to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) policies, mitigating risks both proactively and reactively.
- Work closely with product, data, and engineering teams to build and refine automated detection models, rule-based systems, and workflow tools that enhance the precision, effectiveness, and scope of IPR governance.
- Examine enforcement datasets, patterns in violations, behaviors of sellers and creators, and risk signals to uncover emerging threats, recommend interventions, and support data-driven business decisions.
- Collaborate with Legal, Product, Operations, and various cross-functional teams to maintain alignment on IPR strategies, lead policy updates, and coordinate responses effectively.
- Direct and carry out cross-market governance initiatives, pilot programs, tool deployments, and process enhancements, ensuring well-defined timelines, thorough documentation, regular stakeholder communication, and successful implementation.
- Detect operational inefficiencies, suggest improvements to workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and advocate for scalable solutions that boost platform integrity and user trust.
- Keep abreast of intellectual property laws, e-commerce regulations, and marketplace best practices internationally to guarantee compliance of internal policies.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, data analytics, computer science, or engineering.
- Relevant experience in intellectual property management and e-commerce sectors.
- Exceptional skills in data analysis and logical reasoning, with proficiency in SQL.
- Strong communication capabilities complemented by excellent resource coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Highly adaptable with a proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous self-driven improvement.
- Preference given to candidates with knowledge of global e-commerce or social media content environments.
