Role overview
The Brand Analyst will help drive the commercial performance of the Luxury Retail Division by turning sales, customer, inventory, and market data into actionable insights. The position focuses on strengthening product performance, enhancing customer experience, and supporting strategic choices across the luxury brands in the portfolio.
What you will do
- Review sales results, KPIs, and profitability across luxury retail brands.
- Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering sales and wider business performance.
- Track product movement, sell-through, and inventory turnover trends.
- Spot sales patterns, customer purchasing behavior, and possible growth areas.
- Use data to support assortment planning and buying decisions.
- Monitor stock levels and suggest replenishment or inter-store transfers when needed.
- Carry out competitor and market research to spot industry trends and compare performance.
- Create dashboards and analytical reports in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Work closely with Buying, Merchandising, Retail Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams to meet business goals.
- Assess marketing and promotional campaigns through post-campaign analysis.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning activities.
- Keep reporting files and data records accurate and up to date.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a closely related discipline is required.
- Applicants should have 2 to 4 years of experience in retail analytics, business analysis, merchandising, or commercial reporting, ideally in luxury or premium retail.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel is essential, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and lookup functions.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence platforms is preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems such as D365, SAP, or Oracle will be considered an advantage.
- The role requires strong analytical thinking, numerical ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and presentation abilities are important.
- Candidates must be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy retail setting.
