Position Overview

The Barista role involves managing comprehensive coffee and tea services while delivering exceptional customer experiences. This position ensures the beverage stations are fully stocked, organized, and comply with food safety standards, contributing to a smooth and efficient hot and cold beverage operation in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the beverage and coffee service area.
• Prepare all beverages following standardized recipes and menu requirements.
• Maintain high-speed, efficient coffee and beverage preparation with quality presentation.
• Exhibit deep knowledge of coffee products and specialty coffee drinks.
• Make informed recommendations and suggest coffee-related beverages to customers.
• Operate various coffee machines including manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic.
• Communicate new coffee trends and seasonal beverage ideas to management.
• Implement beverage programs adhering to required standards and recipes.
• Train team members and monitor performance of beverage stations.
• Strictly comply with company and client food safety policies.
• Effectively work under pressure in high-stress situations.
• Prepare and maintain adequate stock (MEP) according to business volume while keeping the work area clean and organized.
• Operate soft serve and ice cream machines as needed.
• Handle industrial machines such as hot water dispensers, hot chocolate makers, and filter coffee machines.
• Regularly inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns and promptly report any defects.
• Adhere to proper labeling and all food safety standards at all times.
• Demonstrate excellent customer relations practices consistently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of highly visible customer areas.
