About the Role
We are looking for an Automation Specialist with expertise in n8n based in Saudi Arabia. This role involves hands-on development and maintenance of intelligent automation workflows designed to streamline marketing, operations, and integrate AI-enabled processes. You will be responsible for creating scalable and efficient n8n automations connecting various business platforms including APIs, CRM systems, communication applications, and AI services.
This position combines technical execution with strategic insight, enabling you to solve real-world business problems through automation. You will partner with digital and AI professionals to implement solutions across various industries. A critical focus is continual improvement of workflows for performance, reliability, error handling, and maintainability as automation demands grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex n8n workflows supporting lead generation, CRM, emailing, marketing operations, and AI integrations.
- Design automation frameworks utilizing APIs, webhooks, JSON, conditional logic, custom variables, and other n8n features.
- Integrate platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Sheets, Airtable, Slack, and Notion into automated processes.
- Connect AI platforms including OpenAI, Claude, to create intelligent automated pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional AI and digital teams for client-focused automation projects.
- Optimize workflows for scalability, efficiency, reliability, and error management.
- Diagnose and resolve automation issues to maintain smooth operations.
- Produce thorough documentation on automation architecture, business logic, and operations.
- Contribute to development of reusable technical standards and automation infrastructure.
- Identify automation opportunities to replace manual repetitive work.
- Experiment with emerging automation and AI technologies to uncover practical business applications.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated professional experience in designing and managing sophisticated n8n workflows (cloud or self-hosted).
- Strong knowledge of API integration, RESTful APIs, webhooks, JSON, data transformation, and automation architecture.
- Hands-on experience connecting business and marketing tools including HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Sheets, Airtable.
- Proficiency integrating AI APIs such as OpenAI, ChatGPT, Claude, or Google PaLM within automated systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with insight into workflow reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Ability to architect solutions aligned with business goals that are efficient and reusable.
- Strong communication and documentation capabilities to explain technical workflows to non-technical audiences.
- Self-starter who can prioritize multiple projects independently in a fast-paced setting.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Make.com, Zapier, Pipedream, and programming knowledge in Node.js or Python for custom extensions.
- Preferred experience: minimum 5 years in relevant automation roles.
- High curiosity and enthusiasm for AI, automation technologies, and innovative process enhancement.
