Role Overview

We are seeking a curious and collaborative Audiologist to join our Research and Development team in Singapore. In this position, you will partner closely with developers, project managers, and clinical researchers to steer the audiological aspects of our product development. Your work will span from verification activities to conducting perceptual studies and contributing to product enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute audiological verification tasks, including drafting, reviewing, and releasing test specifications, plans, conducting tests, and compiling reports aligned with project timelines.
• Support product development by performing verification and validation activities at crucial project milestones.
• Design and carry out internal and external perceptual studies involving participants to guide product-related decisions.
• Offer audiology-based advice to R&D teams regarding new or existing software features, hardware components, or user interface designs.
• Collaborate with project managers regarding audiological deliverables and regularly update the Audio-Visual Interaction team lead.
• Engage actively in learning about new platform capabilities to remain up to date with evolving technologies.

Candidate Profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in audiology or related disciplines.
• A university degree in audiology or an allied field.
• Strong comprehension of hearing aid technologies and audiological assessment methodologies.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken, comfortable handling documentation-heavy responsibilities constituting about 60-65% of the role.
• Exposure to clinical research or product verification procedures is preferred.
• Project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively within cross-functional teams constitute added advantages.
