Associate Manager - Techno Commercial

Position Overview

The Associate Manager - Techno Commercial will oversee the complete import/export processes, customs adherence, and logistical arrangements at the Mundra power facility. This role requires substantial knowledge of regulatory customs procedures, management of vendors, and improving supply chains.

Primary Duties

• Supervise full customs clearance operations for import and export consignments.
• Guarantee adherence to customs laws and correct documentation.
• Communicate with customs officials, freight handlers, and port authorities effectively.
• Manage logistics including transportation, storage, and inventory flow coordination.
• Enhance inbound and outbound logistics to reduce expenditures and boost process efficiency.
• Track shipments, ensure adherence to delivery timelines, and address any logistical delays promptly.
• Keep detailed records of customs paperwork, duties paid, and audit information.
• Work closely with procurement and operational teams to assure prompt material availability.
• Apply industry best practices within logistics and customs workflows.
• Guide and support junior logistics personnel at the plant.

Essential Expertise

• Extensive knowledge of customs compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Capability in data analytics and performance reporting.
• Skills in inventory control and warehouse management.
• Experience in managing risk and controlling costs within logistics functions.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent discipline.
• Between 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in customs and logistics, ideally within the power generation or manufacturing industries.
