Role Overview
We are searching for an Associate Creative Director skilled in conceptual thinking with a strong emphasis on design and visual storytelling. You will be responsible for generating and refining creative ideas, articulating those ideas through craft, and translating concepts into engaging and memorable outcomes. This role requires ownership of projects from inception to completion, fostering client partnerships, leading creative direction, and motivating team members with enthusiasm and insight. The ideal candidate proactively advances projects and enhances creative thinking to inspire teams and delight clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate daily with a multidisciplinary team including designers, art directors, writers, strategists, and media experts.
- Manage client relationships with a creative perspective, understanding and shaping client objectives into actionable creative briefs.
- Guide and supervise project direction in conjunction with the Creative Director, balancing constructive challenges with deliverable commitments.
- Lead creative initiatives from ideation through to execution, present work confidently, lead discussions, and contribute creative insights.
- Interpret complex information and distill it into simple, compelling benefits.
- Set and exemplify high standards of quality in creative work for both team and client expectations.
- Create compelling visual-verbal concepts, collaborating openly with writers and other creatives.
- Adopt a strategic mindset, considering the client's broader challenges, including funnels, personas, and go-to-market strategies.
- Develop bold, original concepts applied across various B2B communications such as brand awareness and account-based marketing campaigns.
- Advocate for your creative ideas while remaining flexible to adapt as necessary.
- Generate ideas that are surprising, differentiating, audience-relevant, clearly expressed, and interact playfully with copy.
- Lead creative outputs that use wit, intelligence, and lateral thinking, transforming complex business messages into emotional resonance.
- Ensure creative work is distinctive, inviting, audience-appropriate, medium-specific, brand-aligned, and able to evolve or redirect brands artistically.
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- A passion for technology and its impact on everyday life, including an informed viewpoint on artificial intelligence.
- Appreciation for structured processes and systems, with the flexibility to adjust procedures to serve people and projects better.
- Ability to see the bigger strategic picture and apply creativity to build meaningful solutions beyond task execution.
- Strong collaborative spirit valuing teamwork as a key strength.
- At least 7 years of experience in a design-focused creative role, preferably within an agency environment.
- A portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and craftsmanship (handled confidentially).
- Exceptional attention to detail with high standards for personal and team output.
- Experience in B2B marketing preferable, though B2C marketing experience is also welcomed.
- Confidence and aptitude in leading colleagues and client interactions.
- Skilled in simplifying complex ideas for strong impact.
- Comfortable switching between broad conceptual thinking and day-to-day content creation.
- Insight into how creativity manifests across diverse platforms and what makes ideas memorable.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; skilled in storytelling and pitching ideas via Microsoft PowerPoint; familiarity with animation and AI tools is advantageous.

Additional Information
