Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Assistant Data Analytics Manager to head our analytics team and spearhead company-wide data projects. This position demands deep expertise in Power BI along with strong leadership, stakeholder coordination, and the capacity to produce impactful business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and cultivate a team of data analysts by assigning tasks, reviewing outputs, and guiding on best analytical practices.
- Create a collaborative and growth-focused environment within the analytics team, fostering continuous development and excellence.
- Collaborate actively with stakeholders across retail, merchandising, e-commerce, finance, supply chain, and IT to translate their business needs into actionable analytical projects.
- Ensure prompt and effective communication between business units and analytics teams to guarantee alignment and maximize adoption of insights.
- Supervise the creation and enhancement of Power BI dashboards, semantic data models, and dataflows ensuring high-quality data modeling and optimized query performance.
- Manage and optimize Power BI Fabric capacity to enable scalable and cost-efficient business intelligence solutions.
- Maintain data integrity via continuous quality checks, validation procedures, and issue resolution.
- Drive the standardization of KPIs, promote data governance policies, and implement BI best practices organization-wide.
- Contribute strategically by supporting the company’s Data & Analytics roadmap, advancing reporting automation, facilitating self-service BI, and promoting advanced analytics methods.
- Advocate for data-driven decision-making throughout the business.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related discipline.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence, including at least one to two years in leadership or mentoring roles.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Power BI featuring strong capabilities in DAX, Power Query, star-schema design, semantic model development, dataflow management, and Power BI Fabric optimization.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience within retail or e-commerce sectors is a plus.
- Proven problem-solving ability, project management expertise, and strong prioritization skills.
- Familiarity with SQL is preferred but not mandatory.
